Abstract

|
According to our investigation of five such places located in´ the Chullanam, we found their inhuman and doctorless conditions to be an urgent problem to be improved, particularly the many inmates who in the past have had treatment by the psychiatrists. We feel that the psychiatrists- should tackle and try to solve this problem.
Also in relation to the problems which arise in the peculiar circumstances existing in our country; the psychiatrists should be directlypresent to give the correct help and guidance.
Foward this end we feel that is necessary to carry out the spot investigation of such sanatoriums on a nationwide basis.
